The Punisher Season 2 Episodes 7 and 8

The Punisher Season 2 Episodes 7 and 8
Take a moment to share:

Back at the trailer

Arriving back at the trailer Frank is surprised as Amy throws a ball at him and tries to disarm him.

This doesn’t go well with Frank, as he’s in a bad mood because someone got killed because he froze on killing Billy.

In a fit of rage he shoves her on the floor against the wall telling her all of it wasn’t a game and she could’ve got killed. Even going as far as shooting his gun off to the side.

Luckily Curtis was there to help up the sobbing Amy and tell Frank off. Asking for the keys Frank takes off to find Billy.

This was a very emotional packed moment, as we see just how emotional and broken Frank can get.

To me he was a worried father who took things way to far. And it was good that Curtis was there to calm him down.

Back at Jakes house

The fury in Frank has not subsided as he beats the hell out of Jake to find out where Billy is.

Luckily once again Curtis steps in and stops him but this time has some cynical words “your acting just like Billy”

A long walk

Frank immediately takes his leave walking in the thunder and lightening. That to be honest looks fake.

But the emotion is anything but. As he recollects all the times Billy has said to him that their the same.

The graveyard

Sitting next to his wive and kids graves, He cleans them off with his sleeve, and lays down on Maria’s grave.

This scene didn’t have to be long or have any words to show the intense emotions that it did. It made me and my sister cry. My heart broke for Frank.

Agent Madani

Life doesn’t get easier for Madani as she deals with Frank, Mahone and CIA deputy director Marion James

A deputies visit

Marion James visits Madani to both check on her and warn her about being involved with Castle. Though at the same time she tells her not to just sit on the sidelines.

Mahones Visit

It’s not only Marion James dropping by her door but also Sgt Mahone. Who warns her that if she doesn’t hand in Castle, he will arrest her.

No sleep for the wicked

Along with being threatened by everyone around her, she can’t get any sleep as she is haunted by nightmares about Billy.

Dropping in on Curtis

Following his cell phone Madani goes to the trailer that Frank and Amy have been staying at.

And she sits and drinks with Curtis, even clicking glasses in Franks name as she decides what she’s going to do.

Billy Russo

The Ups and downs of a relationship

Throughout these two episodes we see him and Krista go round and round. But in the end the two psychopaths find love

Robbery

After spending a night of training his men, they go to the check cashing place, where the store owner Lillian gives him a piece of her mind.

But an inside man lets him in the back and pretends to be a hostage.

Running into an old friend

The robbery goes sideways though as he runs into his old buddy Frank, and when he sees the skull logo on his vest knows it was him that attacked him. But had no idea why.

Getting rid of loose ends

After finally returning to base, billy shoots two of the people working for him. The ones who acted like hostages. Because they questioned him.

The screw finally breaks loose

We see Billy at the end with his crew. Talking about how they had to build an army. To fight their war their way.

Curtis Hoyle

Between a Lover and a brother

We see Curtis fight with himself during both episodes about not being with his fiancé to be with Frank.

But it’s a good thing he chose Frank or he would be dead.

Final thoughts

These two episodes were so full of emotion, that I think I had no tears left afterwards.

And I loved it. I love seeing the tense but caring relationship between Madani and Frank.

The brotherhood between Frank and Curtis.

The emotions of Amy throughout the episode. Loneliness, feeling betrayed.

It was also nice to finally see Frank Emotionally break down. It gave his character a whole new dimension.
