Character Spotlight: Bruegel
Pete and Mike like the addition of Kim Coates as Bruegel in The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2.
Bruegel:
What do we know so far about Kim Coates as Bruegel? Well, he is one of the leaders of the groups living in New York City. He is a collector of the finer things in life. His gang’s name is the Silk Stockings, which, according to my web search, is one of the more powerful of the three currently operating around Manhattan. The Silk Stockings operate out of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. One of Bruegel’s prized possessions is a painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware, which Emanuel Leutze painted. And finally, Bruegel fixed fights, so his fighter would win against other gang walkers. Additionally, he has a plan, but we are unaware of its details.
Kim Coates:
Kim Coates portrays Bruegel, best known for his role as Alexander “Tig” Trager in the FX series Sons of Anarchy. Kim’s film career started back in 1991 with a role in The Last Boy Scout, which stars Bruce Willis and Damon Waynes. He has also had roles in two Academy Award-winning films, Black Hawk Down and Pearl Harbor. Kim has starred in over 40 films, including Waterworld, Open Range, and Assault on Precinct 13.
Upon my dive into his career, I noticed that he is 67 years old, but he does not look that old.
Here is a scene from The Walking Dead: Dead City, season 2, episode 4 so you can get a glimpse of Bruegel.
