Save Travelers?
Apparently “The Director” didn’t see this one coming – or maybe he would have sent 3468 and team to do something about it. Netflix has canceled the sci-fi hit, Travelers, after only 3 seasons.
Eric McCormack announced it today via Twitter:
To all our fellow #Travelers… ❤️ @MacKenziePMusic @NestaCooper @JaredAbrahamson @PatrickGilmore @LeahCairns @SpenceJen @jalexbrinson @bradtravelers @Carrie_Mudd pic.twitter.com/76Y3wYmnSQ

Is it really the end?
Maybe? Probably? #SaveTravelers has already started to pop up on social media. A petition has already been started to ask Netflix to reconsider. You can sign it here. It already has 400+ signatures, add yours!
While it doesn’t seem likely that Netflix will change their minds, anything is possible when it comes to the streaming service. And Eric’s message didn’t come across as 100% final – and maybe it’s just my interpretation – but it sounds a lot like it doesn’t have to be the end. Can the Traveler program 2.0 be resurrected?
What can fans do to help save the show?
Sign and share the petition, be loud on social media, tag Netflix in your posts… Give it a shot – you never know what could happen!
Use those hashtags to attempt to trend: #Travelers #SaveTravelers
(I’m also not-so-secretly hoping they change their minds. I’m pretty bummed about it and will be ranting about it on my radio show tonight.)
Good luck fans!
