Before we get into this week’s ‘Vikings’ preview, let’s quickly review what you might have missed!
Last week, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) prepared for another attack with Gunnhild’s (Ragga Ragnars) help. Meanwhile, elections for the King of Norway began with the arrival of the Kings and Earls. In Kiev, Prince Oleg (Danila Kozlovsky) surprised Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) with his bride-to-be, Princess Katya (Alicia Agneson), who is the spitting image of his late wife, Freydis. Additionally, back in Kattegat, Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) and Torvi (Georgia Hirst) received news about Ivar’s whereabouts.
In this week’s episode, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) and the people of the village have to defend themselves again. It also seems that elections to vote for King Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) as King of Norway goes awry, forcing King Bjorn to act quickly.
Watch the preview for Vikings episode “Death and The Serpent” below.
The official description of the episode is:
Bjorn is forced to act quickly in the aftermath of the election for the King of all Norway. The bandits attack Lagertha’s village again, confident of victory. But when the defense boils down to single combat with Lagertha, victory for the bandits looks less certain. Back in Kattegat, haunted and paranoid, Hvitserk continues to unravel.
Vikings airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on History.
