The Punisher Season 2 – Final 3 Episodes

The end is always hard, but we are here. Let’s jump right into the last three episodes of season 2.

Frank Castle

Back in the Hospital

His pain is deeper than any of the wounds he’s suffering. You can see that in his eyes as the EMTs try desperately to save his life. As they mention an array of injuries and internal injuries.

Even through all of that Mahoney won’t let the cuffs off of him.

But all that’s in Franks mind is the women he killed as we see flashes of what’s going on in his head.

A friend comes to visit

Karen Page has returned to The Punisher to visit Frank in the hospital

But Frank isn’t interested in having visitors or getting help. As all he can think about is how he accidentally shot those three woman.

It’s hard to see Frank Castle giving in. And to see Karen is still pining after him. When we all know they would not go good together.

Memory Lane

Dreams of his wife and kids the day of the shooting floods Franks memories.

Them playing and laughing before all hell broke loose.

He than wakes up with a start and tells Karen about how he always has the same dream.

The dream of them laughing and playing before getting shot. We learn that Frank Jr and Lisa didn’t die right away. That they tried to fight but lost the battle.

He also mentions how he used to be able to always hear their laughter but could no longer hear it, now that he was a monster. And that he deserves death.

This scene is painful and hard to watch. And as we learn later in the episode that Billy killed the women prior to that. Which in turn makes this scene the one that forever made me not want to see Billy Russo redeemed.

Time to see the nurse?

Coming into Franks room dressed as a nurse, Amy tells him they have to get out of there.

As Karen tries to figure out who Amy is , Amy tries to undo Franks cuffs and straps. As he swears and tries to tell her to get out of there, Amy tells Karen about the bounty on their heads.

Three’s a crowd

As if the Amy’s appearance isn’t a headache enough for Frank, in comes Dinah Madani.

Who in a funny moment tells Karen to watch her purse around Amy. I wish she would’ve also told Karen to stay away from her man.

Four’s a nuisance

After ignoring her phone several times. Madani finally picks up and it’s Billy.

Snapping her fingers to shut everyone up, she puts him on speaker.

And he just laughs and mocks Frank telling him that he’s won, and now their the same. After a little more boasting he hangs up.

Billy has really lost it.

It’s after he hangs up that we learn he killed the girls. As he talks to Krista about it. Frank and the others still have no idea.

Killer cop

As Frank lies there a cop comes in, And tells him how he is going get the bounty on his head.

And that it’s also payment for killing his cousin. And as Frank has given up he puts out his arm as the guy pulls out a needle.

Amy to the rescue

Amy bursts in and knocks the guy away from Frank. And he turns to attack her and shoves her on the floor and starts choking her. As Frank yells and pulls and the bed chains.

Madani to the rescue

But before she even loses consciousness Madani knocks him out from behind.

After helping Amy up, Madani and Karen tell Frank about their visit to the morgue to see the girls bodies and how they were dead by the time he got there and there was no way he could’ve done it.

This lights a fire in Frank. And suddenly he’s back to his old self. Which is really good to see.

A moment

Before getting him up and out of there. Frank has a heart to heart with Karen, about how he doesn’t want to move on. And that she should be with Matt.

I agree with him on all accounts. The moments broken up by Amy, who says their cute but they need to get moving.

Grabbing her purse and jacket a shoeless Karen leaves.

Note: she gave her shoes to the mortician as trade to see the bodies.

Escaping

As fire alarms are turned on by Karen. Madani sneaks Frank, who is wearing the cops uniform ..

… And can I say he rocks it.

Down the stairwell, only to run into Mahoney, who has them drop their weapons and makes Frank put on one the cuffs. And he locks him to a pole in the ambulance sitting there.

And he drives off with Frank.
