SCAD TVfest returns for its 12th year February 7- 10.

You read correctly! This year’s TV centric festival includes 4 days of programming up from last year’s three. A new venue is on the agenda as well. We shared news of the magnificent new SCADshow theater on the Midtown Atlanta campus earlier this year.

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) hosts the star-studded event that boasts panels, premiere screenings, award presentations and more. SCAD TVfest brings together students, industry talent and experts, plus the general public, for a rich and curated offering of events. The festival allows attendees to learn more about television from diverse perspectives including the pitch process, casting, costuming, performance, post-production and much more in between.

Diverse content

SCAD released the full schedule of events on Thursday, which can be found here. Festival passes are currently available for purchase. Tickets for singular events will go on sale January 31st.

The opening night gala includes the season 2 premiere screening of Max original series Tokyo Vice followed by a panel with actors and executive producers for the show. Content from a wide assortment of networks and streaming services will be celebrated throughout the festival including Prime Video’s The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, HBO’s The Gilded Age, Manhunt from Apple TV+, Genius: MLK/X from National Geographic, Hallmark’s The Way Home, and NBC’s Extended Family, just to name a few.
