Dancing With The Stars: Ray Lewis, Christie Brinkley, and… Sean Spicer?!

Dancing with the Stars: Season 28

Let me start off with two quick disclaimers…

One: I’m a loud and dedicated Baltimore Ravens fan.

Two: I dislike most reality television, with dancing shows being close to the top of that dislike list.

So, Why?

Why am I writing about this? Simple. This show has run it’s course and with the recent announcement of “stars” joining the show – it’s time to put it all out there:

End this nonsense.

Who?

Here’s who is coming to DTWS this season:

Supermodel Christie Brinkley, Mary Wilson from The Supremes, Kate Flannery from The Office, basketball champ Lamar Odom, James Van Der Beek (is he still on TV?), Super Bowl MVP Ray Lewis, and former White House Press Secretary – Sean Spicer.  Kel Mitchell, Lauren Alaina, Karamo Brown, Ally Brooke, and Hannah Brown round out the rest.

What the [CENSORED] is this? Sean Spicer? Who came up with this bright idea and how exactly did Mr. Spicer come to the conclusion that this was a good idea? Get the hashtag ready now:  #DWTSDisaster

Van Der Beek won the hearts of television audiences 16 years ago – but can he do it now? Will our uptown girl, Brinkley, bring the moves?

And how about Ray Lewis? A mesmerizing linebacker with a knack for eloquent (and sometimes long-winded) speeches… Will we see his dance made famous on the field to Nelly’s “Hot in Herre”?

Check out Ray’s famous pre-game dance:

My prediction:

Mary Wilson is a surprise standout and Lamar Odom bows out early. Ray Lewis is crowned the winner and instead of canceling the show after this season, we’ll see # 52 as a judge in Season 29.

If you’re actually going to watch, DWTS premieres on September 16th on ABC. Let me know what you think about all this in the comments below!
