The Everybody Counts Podcast talks to Henrik Bastin, CEO of Fabel Entertainment, the production company for Bosch: Legacy.
Henrik Bastin has been with the Bosch television universe from the beginning. He is completely passionate about his work on the original Bosch series and its spinoff Bosch: Legacy. So, obviously I was thrilled when given the opportunity to speak with Henrik about his new production company, Fabel Entertainment and the inner workings of bringing the Amazon Freevee original Bosch: Legacy to our screens. He throws in a few hints about season 2 and makes me even more excited for the next installment of the series.
Henrik has the unique position of participating in many different aspects of production from the writers’ room to logistics and more. He is able to share insights on so many different subjects. I love talking to Henrik about storytelling as well as the mechanics of production. Here are just a few of the topics we discuss:
- What were the initial plans for the Reina Vasquez and Mo Bassi characters?
- What is he most proud of after the first season of Bosch: Legacy?
- How can the success of Bosch translate to other productions that Fabel Entertainment has in the works?
- And, I even tried to find out if we may ever see Renee Ballard on screen.
