Look out, Philadelphia – Wizard World is coming! Panels, photo ops, autographs, cosplayers, gaming, vendors, artists, celebrities, and more – You’ll need to clear your schedule to fit in all the excitement. We’ll be on-site covering the event and joining in on all the fun. Look for us Friday evening as we broadcast live from Wizard World on TV Talk radio.
Guest List:
How much time do you have? Because this list is HUGE…
Sebastian Stan (Captain America), Stephen Amell (Arrow), Henry Winkler (Yes, THAT Henry Winkler), Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones), Charisma Carpenter (Angel), are just some of the amazing celebrities coming to Wizard World. Did you know the 1966 Batmobile will be there, too?
What about the list of artists, comics, creators, etc? So many! Jim Steranko, Kurt Lehner, Greg Capullo, Mike Grell, Bob Camp, Mostafa Moussa, and about 38 bazillion more! (Okay, a slight exaggeration – but there’s definitely someone there for everyone!)
Here’s the complete guest list.
Not Just For Adults
Costume contests and other specific programming geared towards the kids – They’re sure to have an absolute blast! Plus, with all the fun cosplayers running around – they’ll definitely meet some of their favorite characters and super heroes! And let’s not forget the various vendors with plenty of great stuff to make kids of any age happy!
Children under 10 are FREE with a paid adult admission.
Escape Rooms!
For the second straight year, Wizard World is teaming with Last Minute Escape, one of the premiere escape room providers around, but this time it’s double the fun! Wizard World and LME will present two “Superhero Training Camp” themed Escape Rooms exclusively to show attendees! Those rooms are:
- The Stones of Power: You will have 10 minutes to return the Stones of Power to their respective locations on the Compass of Truth. The Stones of Power are locked away and only through communication and teamwork will you be able to unlock them and return them to their rightful places. If you can accomplish this goal you will be one step closer to becoming a true Super Hero. If not, there is always next time…
- The Rogue Robot: You will have 10 minutes to take control of a Rogue Robot that has come off of its programming! The Robot will need to be re-wired, but all of the components necessary have been locked away. Only through communication and teamwork will you be able to figure out how to disable the Rogue Robot and get one step closer to becoming a true Super Hero. If not, there is always next time…
The rooms are open all four days of the convention (May 17-20). Each game lasts 10-15 minutes, and tickets ($10 for one room, $16 for both) can be purchased on site or online in advance (with reserved times!) at their website.
Exhibitors and Vendors – Everywhere!
Need to pick up the latest comics? Maybe some items to complete your cosplay wardrobe? Souvenirs? Unique keepsake items? There’s SO many options when it comes to the various vendors and exhibitors. (Did you know many offer some freebies?) Take a break from your favorite celebrity panels and grab your Wizard World bag – you absolutely need to navigate these never-ending options of fun!
Pitch A Movie?
Wizard World and Columbia Pictures have teamed up to find the next great movie idea! If you’re attending Wizard World (which you should be…) and have an idea for an amazing film – you can submit your idea and maybe earn a pitch session while at the comic con.
