Love the podcast! I have lots of thoughts (don’t I always?). I guess I’ll start with Troy and why he thinks Nick saved him. I think Troy was going to commit suicide by provoking the others at the ranch into a shootout. I think he thought he was following in his father’s footsteps, because at that point he thought his father killed himself. So when he first heard Nick killed him, his initial reaction was, it wasn’t suicide, and I think that changed his outlook. But Troy is still seriously psychotic so you can’t expect any rational behavior from him. I think both Nick and Madison are giving him a lot of grace because of their own experiences with dysfunctional people.
