What did So Many Shows think of The Terror?
The first two seasons of the horror anthology series The Terror are now available on Netflix after originally airing on AMC. The So Many Shows podcast team was ready to experiment with a new podcast format, and Jay selected The Terror as our subject.
Three of us had never watched The Terror while Pete had viewed both seasons prior. With that said, most of us were not sure to expect from the series about two Royal Navy ships and crew that have embarked on a search for a passage through the Arctic in the 1845. One vessel is aptly named the Terror while the second one is named the Erubus. The harsh elements combined with uncharted territory make for a treacherous journey.
So Many Shows discussed episode 1 using a new podcast format as follows:
- Character discussion
- Episodic questions
- Guesses on how season 1 ends
- Trivia
- Rating the episode between 1 and 5 sparks (in memory of our friend Anne whose handle included “sparks”)
AMC recently shared that a third installment of the series titled The Terror: Devil in Silver will arrive in 2025 with six episodes.
