After a week’s break, ABC’s The Good Doctor is back this Monday with an all-new episode.
Just as Dr. Shaun Murphy is getting used to physical attention from his girlfriend Carly, his new patient may shake up their comfort zone. Shaun’s run-in with a social media influencer brings about attention and buzz that will most definitely be a lot for him to handle.
For the Team Shea fans out there, it looks like we’re going to learn more about the new dynamics of Shaun and Lea’s relationship (or lack thereof). The official synopsis for Monday’s new episode titled Influence also points out that Carly’s efforts to keep Shaun and Lea apart are “challenged.” Perhaps Shaun and Lea’s friendship is just too strong of a bond to break, but that could mean trouble for Team Sharly!

“After Dr. Shaun Murphy treats a patient who is a social influencer, he deals with unwanted attention. Meanwhile, the team treats a woman who is in abdominal distress after an at-home fecal transplant; and Dr. Carly Lever’s efforts to separate Shaun from Lea are challenged.”

The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital with autism and savant syndrome. In addition to Highmore, the series also stars Antonia Thomas as Dr. Claire Browne, Nicholas Gonzalez as Dr. Neil Melendez, Hill Harper as Dr. Marcus Andrews, Richard Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman, Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim, Fiona Gubelmann as Dr. Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park, Paige Spara as Lea Dilallo and Jasika Nicole as Dr. Carly Lever.
