You cannot deny that there are indeed “so many shows” returning as well as many just getting started this time of year!
So, we decided to kick off the fall season with our first edition of the So Many Shows Round Table Rumble. We each weigh on in the same topic not knowing what the other guests will have to say. We certainly make a little noise, but the rumble part is more about defending our responses!
Our topic for this edition is:
-
Shows in the fall TV lineup we are most looking forward to, new or returning
We each share our list and fill you in on when and where to watch along with the reasons we are so excited about our picks.
And you certainly do not want to miss out on Paul’s game show voice! Or is it his spooky voice? Hmmm….either way, it’s pretty funny. And if you pay attention, you will get to hear it several times.
So tune in to hear from Caroline, Jay, Monica, Paul, Tracey, and Wendy as we spin “The Wheel of Shows”.
Will some of your favorites be on our lists? If you have a favorite we did not include, be sure to leave a comment and tell us about it. And be sure to subscribe to the So Many Shows Podcast so you do not miss a single episode!

Thank you for sharing your lists of shows you’re looking forward to. I agreed with a lot of your picks. I was glad you mentioned Atypical, which I enjoyed, and I’m interested to see how The Good Doctor is. I enjoyed the first episode but — I’m hoping we’ll learn more about Shaun, because I want to know more about his back story and how he became a doctor, what training he has had and how old he is. He seems very young and I hope that the creators of the show and the actor who plays him don’t just think they should portray him as like a really smart man who is otherwise still very much a young boy, or they’re missing some aspects of what it means to be autistic. But it was a pretty good start.
I can’t remember if you mentioned Young Sheldon, which I was looking forward to and I really enjoyed the first episode. Good use of music and a great nostalgia feel, and I think the characters are going to be good.
