MGM+ original series FROM renews for a third season.

FROM on MGM+ Season 2 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc.

It’s official. The mysteries of FROM will continue to be explored on MGM+. The network shared the following announcement in a press release dated June 29, 2023:

“In the wake of Season Two’s epic cliffhanger, escape will become a tantalizing and very real possibility as the true nature of the town comes into focus, and the townspeople go on offense against the myriad horrors surrounding them. The series is set to return in 2024.”

Fans of the unique horror/mystery box series have been waiting with bated breath for confirmation of a third season. The news comes on the heels of a jaw-dropping season 2 finale of FROM.

(Spoiler alert if you have not finished FROM season 2).

Those who have watched the show in its entirety thus far will know of the emergence of a new setting in the season 2 finale. All this time, the story has been set in the town nicknamed “Fromville”. But now one of our main characters shows up somewhere else and we are left wondering what that means exactly. Is Tabitha back in the “real world” or could this be somewhere else in between? And “where” is not the only question viewers are asking. There has also been speculation as to “when” the new scene takes place.

News for viewers

Head of MGM+, Michael Wright had the following to share:

“The first two seasons of FROM captivated critics and terrified and engaged fans, who have formed a thriving online community that is trying to put the pieces together week by week as the secrets of the nightmarish town—and possibly beyond—are slowly revealed. We can’t wait for fans to see the surprises ahead in Season Three, which promises more scares and mysteries, but also more answers.”

Director Jack Bender, who also serves as one of FROM‘s executive producers, also had a message for viewers:

“We’re so grateful for the support of our fans and FROMily this season. We have a lot more story to tell … and shocking, weird roads to take you on, with plenty of answers along the way.”

FROM season 2 boasts many standout performances from leading actor Harold Perrineau (as Boyd) and staggering emotional scenes with Scott McCord (as Victor) and Catalina Sandino Moreno (as Tabitha).

MGM+ is an Amazon company, which offers both linear programming and streaming options.
