Empire Season 4!
Empire returned with all the original players in place. Confusion took front and center with Lucious Lyon unable to remember his family or any of his business dealings. As always Cookie Lyon is dressed to impress with her fabulous wardrobe throughout the episode. In true form, she is now running Empire and trying to keep what her and Lucious started from crumbling. Empire Season 4 is here!
Tangled is the web being weaved by Diana Dubious (Phylicia Rashad) who is out for revenge and is set on taking the Lyons down piece by piece. She has strategically calculated each of the Lyons weaknesses and begins to chip away at the already shaky family foundation. A few good kicks and it may just fall apart… and just like Humpty Dumpty – may be unable to put it back together again.
Trying hard to cover up the near assassination of his father, Andre goes into business with Shine who tends to be trigger happy when crossed. Heavy is the heart and conscious that tries to commit murder and is unsuccessful.
Empire is set to take off with vengeance this season and guaranteed to take unexpected turns.
After watching this episode, I’m left with three questions:
- Is Lucious faking his memory loss?
- Does Lucious’ therapist work for the Dubious?
- Will Cookie discover the devious Dubious plot in time?
