Carl’s Jr. and Lucifer? Yes, It’s A Thing…

Carl’s Jr. and Lucifer – Burgers, Anyone?

Remember a few months ago when FOX cancelled Lucifer? Fans immediately took to social media to show their displeasure and rally around their show – hoping to see Lucifer saved. Obviously the campaign from the “Lucifans” worked – Netflix picked up the show – but not before an unexpected ally appeared in the fight. The people behind those tasty burgers at Carl’s Jr. stepped in to help save the show.

A Great Match

After helping to #SaveLucifer, yesterday Carl’s Jr. made a surprise appearance on the set of Lucifer, treating the cast to a special lunch of the El Diablo thickburger – “the hottest burger in town.” Even the show’s star, Tom Ellis, sprung into action – jumping into the truck to serve some burgers to the cast.

Production of the new season on Netflix is underway, and what better way to celebrate “#LuciferSaved” than with Carl’s Jr. on set? A good burger with a quality television program always go hand in hand!

Who Knew?

Who would have thought that this unlikely pairing would help save a show? Carl’s Jr. did – and those on set took notice via twitter:
