Twitter Reacts to Game of Thrones

We decided to let a few days pass before looking for some of the reactions to the recent episode of Game of Thrones. Season eight’s third episode “The Long Night” has everyone talking…

WARNING: Expect strong language and perhaps some spoilers if you haven’t watched.

Here are just a small sample of what the world is sharing:

Lots of emotions, and some speechless:

Damn #GameofThrones… damn #BattleOfWinterfell… damn

— The Blonde Dungeon Master (@brittschoen625) April 29, 2019

OH. MY. FUCKING. GOD. #GameOfThrones

— 🌙 𝔹 𝔸 𝔹 𝕐 (@_iam_lo) April 29, 2019

I have no words. I have absolutely none. Except that that was possibly the best peice of filmed entertainment I have EVER seen. 😱 #GameofThrones

— Tel (@supertel88) April 29, 2019

Is there any other show that can get a whole family, or group of friends together to watch it quite like Game of Thrones can? I don’t think there is. #GameofThrones

— DanOBrien (@Dee_O_Bee) April 29, 2019

Why does GOT have to play with my emotions like this #TalkTheThrones #AryaFuckingStark #AryaStark #GameOfThrones #myheartratethatwholeepisode

— steven (@steven_desch) April 29, 2019

That episode of #GameOfThrones has me MAJORLY fucked up

— Jordyn (@happilyyhemmo) April 29, 2019

The score for #GameOfThrones #GameofThronesepisode3 is absolutely fucking amazing, best in the history of television and film for that matter.

— Ethan Andrews (@ethanandrews20) April 29, 2019

Bloody hell. Is entertainment supposed to be this exhausting? I need a holiday. #GameofThrones #Endgame

— Eamon Ambrose (@eamonambrose) April 29, 2019

Some Weren’t As Impressed…

So having had a good 22 hours to mull on it. I think the #BattleOfWinterfell as good as an episode as it is, still isn’t as great as The Wall or Battle of the Bastards in terms of best battle episode, let alone best ever episode.

It’s still bloody amazing tho. #GameofThrones

— Matt B (@Northern_Goblin) April 29, 2019

At the risk of beinbg another spoiler, just one #GameofThrones question: what was the Night King’s motivation? I know he wanted to erase the world of it’s memory, but why? Anyone else not feel satisfied with the last episode, even though it was epic af and I did like it?

— Vivek Laungani (@vik_pl) April 29, 2019

Here’s the thing: Arya’s arc was very unresolved and over-the-top WITHOUT something like this. She needed to be the best FOR A PURPOSE. (How much of a fight did Walder Frey’s sons put up, really?) #GameOfThrones #spoilers

— Moira Katson (@moirakatson) April 29, 2019

Y’all….. my mom… a woman of a certain age who has NEVER SEEN #GameofThrones in her life….. decided to watch season 8 episode 3 yesterday cause I was hyping it up and afterwards she had the nerve to say “I don’t see the big deal” 😱

— Bee (@HelloIm_Bee) April 29, 2019

Don’t see what all the fuss is about with #GameofThrones it’s terrible! #GOT

— Ryan Underwood (@Unndies) April 29, 2019

So I really hate it when a TV show or Movie uses TERRIBLE military tactics in order to create dramatic moments #GameofThrones does this all the time but the #BattleOfWinterfell really pushed me over the edge and now I’m rage tweeting about it.

— Marq Edwin (@MarqEdwin27) April 29, 2019

And then there was this guy…

In what I can only describe as the oversight of the century, I forgot #GameofThrones was on last night.
