TWD News!

The dead are coming…..

Friday July 24,2020 was the day all of us Walking Dead fans have been waiting for, some release dates and trailers. So let’s break down the news:

We shall start with the flagship show

The Walking Dead

We now know that on October 4,2020 at 9pm pacific the season 10 finale will air.

Along with that we know that we get 6 fabulous extra episodes of season 10 sometime in early 2021.

I really hope we see Negan and Maggie overcome their differences because they would make a kick ass team and couple. I love that Jeffrey Dean Morgan said that Negan has a soft spot for the next generation which any viewer with eyes already knew and that he will be honest with Hershel Jr.

The trailer:

We didn’t get much new in this except we saw just how big Betas hoard is. Personally I hope this is the end of Beta and his whisperers:

The best scene they showed was Gabriel telling Gracie that he was scared like her but it’s together with the other communities and others that they will defeat the on coming hoard. This tells me Gabriel might know about Maggie and her people.

If they kill any of the kids I will be extremely mad.

We didn’t see Rosita which worries me and we also haven’t seen Connie who I still hope is alive.

Since the rumors are we will see the commonwealth I hope they’re able to save Ezekiel as well.

The World Beyond

The newest addition to the Walking Dead family finally has a start date,

Oct.4 at 10/9c right after the season 10 finale.

As of right now we know we will follow four young adults facing the world for the first time searching for one of their fathers after living in the comfort of one of the CRM (Civil Republic Military) bases where they went to school and even college.

The neat thing to consider is that they’re heading towards New York and that’s exactly where Michonne headed off to to find Rick in her final episode.

We also know that it will be two seasons consisting of ten episodes each.

I am excited but I am worried with a younger cast we are going to have more drama then story.

The Trailer:

It basically runs as a young adult movie trailer.

We have one of our young heroines talking about how she “has always lived for the future now she has to find a way to live for herself”.

Nothing new in the trailer itself but the fact we have a date and time is really exciting.

Fear The Walking Dead

I can’t wait for this.

October 11,2020 at 9/10c Fear is back.

Each episode is going to be in an anthology format focusing on one or two characters.

We also know we will see dwight’s missing wife Sherry.

The Trailer

This is the most epic of the three trailers.

Strand and Alicia seem to be being held in a place called Lawton.

They all seem to be being held as prisoners. We see Daniel being tortured, and no SkidMark which makes me sad.

We also see June trying to save someone’s life and John, who has grown a nice beard killing some walkers. Neither of them look happy and they have every right not to be since they’re separated from one another.

Althea looks like she has her tank back and is ready to hurt people.

There’s a mysterious person in a cage, Sherry crying and Dwight seeing a masked figure in his window.

And then there’s Virginia hiring what looks like a bounty hunter to find Morgan. Now we don’t know if he’s dead or undead when his eye opens and is red because the guy obviously collects heads and has a box labeled Morgan.

In Conclusion

So there you have it. Some good news finally in the midst of the bad.

The only sad part is we didn’t get any information on the upcoming movies.

Last weekend Kirkman said at an expo that the script was ready and once it’s safe they will film. We know Pollyanna McIntosh and of course Andrew Lincoln will be in them.

Rumors also say characters like Michonne, Heath, and others could show up as well.

Hopefully we get some more info soon!!
