‘Motherland: Fort Salem’ recap “My Witches”

Take a moment to share:

The top 5 highest-ranking units get a prize. They get to go to a pageant and take some time off base. Will Raelle behave long enough to help her team move up the ranks?

Madam President Kelly visits Fort Salem for an update on the Spree. General Alder needs the troops ready for battle. Anacostia is throwing everything at them to accelerate their training.

Raelle continues her relationship with Scylla AKA a Spree and ends up being late for inspection. Abigail is still at her throat about misbehaving and Tally is starting to crumble with anxiety after seeing an old friend, Glory.

Raelle, Abigail, and Tally ultimately prove themselves and head to the pageant. They look nice in their uniforms. They go shopping, watch a skit, and have fun. Raelle and Abigail actually bond for a bit before Scylla intervenes. They sneak off into the woods to be together.

While they’re gone, a balloon shows up at the pageant, scaring everyone. Did Scylla place it there? The witches took care of it, well, because a civilian boy let a balloon go.

Back at the base, General Alder watches a Spree raid gone bad. The whole unit that led the raid died.

The witches celebrate the victory with some drinks. Scylla, however, converses with a balloon. Is that the leader?

What is with all the stomping? Is there more than one Spree member there? I have so many questions. Next week promises to be energized and I am here for it.
