The soldiers perform a citydrop to simulate a Spree attack. They have to clear their road of mines within an hour. The higher ranks will act as Spree threats.
Upon landing, Tally breaks her leg. When Raelle heals her, she sees Tally’s memory of when she finds out Scylla is a Spree. Raelle, upset, doesn’t believe her.
Instead of the mission, Raelle pouts and pushes Tally into a car that releases a sound wave of the plague. As they heal, Abigail learns about Scylla, and Raelle gets even angrier.
Raelle goes to look for Anacostia and comes across Lieutenant Helen Graves who doesn’t recognize her… gee I wonder why. Abigail and Tally go looking for her and also end up fighting over Tally not telling her about Scylla. Their fight is broken up when “the Spree” attack. The two of them put up an excellent fight.
Their next mission is to search a nearby high school for Spree. The feuding unit reconciles when Raelle saves Tally.
After the mission, Helen and Anacostia talk to Raelle about the person she thought Helen was and is told the Spree can change their appearance. Raelle reluctantly starts to believe Scylla to be Spree…
Back at Fort Salem, General Alder confirms a real Spree attack. The soldiers sent in to disarm the factory die in an explosion. The Spree are heading to Boston in trucks.
Anacostia ends the citydrop and tells the soldiers they are going to take the Spree out, for real this time. They drop in on the trucks and they take out the first truck with ease. Raelle goes after the Spree member who runs off. She turns into Scylla and Raelle puts aside her feelings and kills her. The second truck has an armed bomb and hostages but the mission stays the same. They destroy the second truck but not everyone makes it out unharmed. Libba is killed and Abigail takes a nasty blow to the head.
General Alder makes a statement addressing Libba’s death and the civilians. Except, Alder exaggerates how the civilians were killed.
The unit is shaken but they trust each other. The only question is, who else can they trust?
