Legends of Tomorrow Episode 13

Last week, our kind Doctor Palmer got kidnapped by the Darhk’s – this week he fell in love with one. But let’s get the small stuff out of the way first…

Ava and Sara

Cute is the only word I can use to describe these two. Ava obviously stayed the night. I love how they were nervous about telling others about their relationship. I truly hope that they continue building on the relationship.

I am a little disappointed though that Sara still takes every chance she gets to insult Mick. You would think the writers would be bored of the old jokes by now. Mick deserves some recognition for what he has done for the team.

Rip and Wally

I was so happy to see Rip on the Waverider again, but  I wish his stay was longer. I really wonder what secret the man doesn’t want Sara to know about Ava.

Wally is going to bring a new vibe to the ship. I already think he fits right in and will continue to get closer to the others on the ship.

Amaya and Zari

We learned from them traveling to the world between worlds that Mallus using the anachronisms as a way to escape the prison the totem bearers put him in. We also learned that Nora has successfully corrupted Amaya’s Totem. What does this mean for Amaya? Sound off in the comments.

Ray Palmer

Ray got to counsel both Darhks in tonight’s episode. He helped Nora find her inner strength while falling in love with her. The scenes between them are so energetic and fun. I believe it is the writing plus the fact Brandon Routh (Ray) and Courtney Ford (Nora) are married in real life.

He also counsels Damien and makes him realize that he just has to tell Nora how he feels. That all she wants – to know she is more important to him than anything else.

Damien and Nora Darhk

The heart of this episode was the father-daughter bonding Damien and Nora did. To see them both at their weakest was a nice contrast. Learning that Nora just wanted her fathers respect, Damien just wanted to make Nora’s world as perfect as possible and be with her. All of this was heart warming and wonderful character development for both of them. We saw them as people, not just as villains.

The best part was when Nora told Damien to let her go so she wouldn’t die and his last words were to her were “I love you”. Also Damien apologizing for introducing Mallus into Nora as a child. Damien truly loves Nora and would do anything for her and she loves him as well.

Mallus is coming

At the end of the episode we see Mallus strengthen his hold on Nora. Hopefully Damien is really willing to do whatever he can to save his little girl, like reach out to the Legends for help but first, the Legends have to save Elvis in next weeks episode from the deadly father/daughter duo.
