FROM season 2 premiered with episode 1 titled “Strangers in a Strange Land”.
Sure enough, a number of newcomers arrive via a bus in season 2 episode 1. Chaos ensues at Colony House while the storm rages. The radio tower falls from the roof and broken glass abounds. Meanwhile, things go from bad to worse for Jim as he scrambles to look for Tabitha. Jade enlists the help of Ethan to search Victor’s room. Victor guides Tabitha underground where the monsters sleep. Donna struggles to get through to the newcomers as sunset approaches.
Episode 1 has both a chaotic and eerie energy to it. Above ground at Colony House, residents scurry to salvage what equipment they can during the storm. In town, the Matthews’ house comes crashing down while the newcomers struggle to figure out what’s going on. There is a very eerie and suspenseful feeling underground where Victor and Tabitha encounter sleeping monsters and a host of old objects lying around. All the while, poor Boyd struggles to get out of tight spot.
