Maddie has been abducted and Harry reaches out to trusted technophile Mo Bassi for help. Bosch asks Mo to review the digital footprint of Maddie’s recent activity. Mo Bassi has a proven track record when it comes to online surveillance and investigations. He has become part of Harry’s trusted circle and that is not easy to come by. Harry’s friend wastes no time digging into Maddie’s social media, banking activity and phone records as Harry rattles off his request for help. Harry and Mo are seeking any sign of the abductor among Maddie’s recent activity.
They disconnect the call, and we see the stress on Harry’s face. But do we also detect a dash of relief knowing he has Mo on the case? Harry is deep in thought as he drives west on Willoughby in Hollywood. He then proceeds to cross Wilcox despite the red light before him. An oncoming truck lays on the horn. Harry swiftly turns his Jeep around barely avoiding collision with multiple vehicles.
After coming to a stop, Harry takes a deep breath.
