Arrow Episode 15

Let’s flash back to six seasons ago when Oliver Queen miraculously came back from the dead. Well, Star City has once again had someone miraculously come back from the grave or at least they think they have. But that wasn’t even them biggest moment of the episode – Let’s take a look.

Roy’s Return and Thea

After three long years, Roy Harper (played by Colton Haynes) has returned to Star City. I myself didn’t really care if he ever came back as the character as it really adds nothing to the story, but Thea sure was happy. Though I’m pretty sure Roy would’ve rather returned in a less painful way.

After being kidnapped by Diaz, Roy was being tortured to be a star witness against Oliver. When Thea hears this news she decides its time to put on the hood again and go and save him. In the midst of the first rescue mission Thea loses her cool and Oliver has to save her before her getting Roy.

The second rescue mission failed for Team Arrow. They were played and had the wrong transport leaving Roy in the hands of Diaz, who threatens Thea instead.

Third time’s the charm. After a chat with Oliver about leaving with Roy, Thea is able to save Roy and get him back to her place. There the two love birds decide to rekindle their physical relationship.

There’s been a lot of talk about Willa (Thea) leaving the show and I think if she is – this would be the perfect way for her to leave.

OTA

Along with trying to save Roy, John is trying to figure out why Oliver hasn’t let him put the hood back on. The two have another argument that is cut short by the need to save Roy.

Oliver also had to deal with the return of “Laurel” and hoping she wasn’t going to out him as the Green Arrow.

NTA

Not much happened with the newbies.

Rene is still MIA due to his wound.

We see Curtis go and talk to Rene’s daughter about her dad, but we don’t get much more than that. We don’t know what he told her, but I hope she doesn’t get all weird like William is.

Dinah put herself on Laurel’s return case, but ultimately has to refocus on weeding out all the bad cops in the SCPD. Quentin and her were tasked with the job and ultimately had to work together.

Black Siren

This young lady has found a new way to survive. She has become “Laurel Lance”. Giving a riveting speech about being kidnapped and held captive for two years, she is able to hide among the people as Laurel. This also gave her safety from a very vengeful Dinah Drake.

After being kidnapped from the hospital by Diaz, she goes back to Team Arrow and tells them where Roy is being held. After a riveting chat with Oliver about him giving her a chance to work on things, she gets a text from Diaz and smiles.

Now, this girl is just trying to survive. We don’t know if she’s playing one or both sides, but whatever she’s doing, it’s pretty dangerous to her health. I really hope in the end she finds redemption and a life with the people on Earth One. I think she is looking for a replacement for the father she lost and I hope she finds it.

Enter the League of Assassins

At the very end of the episode we see a member of the League watching Thea and reporting she has found the heir of the Ra’s. We also see Nyssa (played by Katrina Law) in the preview telling Thea she is the heir as well. I wonder how that will all go down. I also want to know how or if Nyssa will react to Siren pretending to be Laurel.

Arrow returns Thursday March 29 at 9/8c on the CW.
