So You Want Bluff City Law Season 2? Here’s How You Get It…

Bluff City Law Season 2

Bluff City Law Season 2???

So you want to see a second season for Bluff City Law, eh?

Well, you’re not the only one – and the fact is: This show deserves another season. It also deserves more viewers, more acclaim, and more of your effort to ensure it does receive another season.

Here’s the deal… Are you someone that enjoys the show? Do you really want to see it continue? Then there is only one thing you can do to help procure a future for Strait & Associates.

WATCH THE SEASON FINALE LIVE!

It’s time to blow NBC away with the number of people watching. Sure, streaming is the “future” of TV – blah, blah, blah — but live ratings still matter and they matter big time for Bluff City Law. I’m going to go over the numbers in a minute, but for now – let’s focus on what you need to do.

Mark those calendars

Seriously… Mark the one on your wall. On your desk. On your phone, tablet, PC, or Etch-A-Sketch. 10/9c Monday night. Be home and in front of the TV. Cash in on all those favors that your friends, family, co-workers, or ex-boyfriends/girlfriend owe you. Tell them to do the same.

The viewers and love for this show are out there – but it’s time they all watched at the same time to prove a point.

A petition won’t work. Angry tweets or social media comments won’t get the job done. Threatening to boycott a network because “they did it again” won’t phase anyone. If you want more BCL – people HAVE to watch – and there’s only one week left of this show.

Seriously, don’t you want more Sydney?

Ratings

I’m not going to bore you with too many numbers, but here’s the deal… They’re okay at best, but they SHOULD be better. The demographic numbers are averaging .57 for the season.  This is the number for advertisers – and where money counts. In short, the show needs more viewers 18-49.

Live viewing? The average is just over 3.7 million people per episode over the season. Reasonable, but again – not enough. In the last 2 weeks of published numbers for +7 viewing – they’re averaging another 2.6 million viewers per episode. Again, reasonable – BUT WHY ARE YOU NOT WATCHING LIVE?

Do you really want Della to be disappointed?

The Truth

NBC expected more. (And, frankly, so did I.) They ordered an additional 6 scripts for the show very early on – only to decide after seeing the ratings, not to proceed with them. Industry insiders will tell you that this is bad news – that it’s extremely unlikely for this show to get a renewal order. And, well, they’re right…

BUT — it doesn’t mean it’s not possible. The 10PM Monday timeslot is a tough one, but the viewers are out there. Is The Voice a great lead-in for a show like Bluff City Law? Probably not, but in the last couple of weeks, The Voice has dropped a bit in ratings, while BCL has had an uptick. That’s a GOOD sign.

The truth is… There’s one way – and YOU hold the key.

You want to see Bluff City Law Season 2 headlines in the news? Don’t miss the finale. Don’t let anyone you know miss the finale. And if you have friends that have been sleeping on this show – Wake them the hell up.  Friends don’t let friends miss great TV. They’ve got a week to catch up – Let’s get them started.

Where/How to Watch:

The season 1 finale airs Monday, November 25th at 10/9c on NBC.

DO. NOT. MISS. THIS. EPISODE.

Catch up on previous episodes using on demand, NBC.com, Hulu or Amazon Prime Video. (That stuff is tracked ya know…)

Watch it live, folks. It’s the only way.
