Bluff City Law at the Boston Film Festival

This year, the 35th Boston Film Festival ran from September 19-22nd. On Saturday, NBC aired a special advanced screening of Bluff City Law. Some of the cast – Caitlin McGee, Michael Luwoye, and Jayne Atkinson – attended the screening and held a question and answer panel afterwards.

As the cast entered the screening on the red carpet, I had an opportunity to ask Caitlin McGee and Michael Luwoye some questions. Check out my interview with Caitlin below.

As a native of Massachusetts, Caitlin had many proud family members in attendance for the screening cheering her on!

I had some technical difficulties with the recording of Michael’s interview, but I did get to ask him a few questions.

Q: What drew you to the role of Anthony?

A: It was such a different character than anything I’ve played before. Anthony is someone that I would aspire to be.

Q: What is it like transitioning from stage to a TV production?

A: Performing on stage you are trying to connect with people in an audience. With a TV production it’s much smaller, you don’t have that interaction.

Q: Dean Georgaris posted a behind the scenes look at a table read where you are singing. Will that make it into the episode?

A: It would be a little hard not to when the script called for me to read it as Hamilton!

That episode should be great and we will be looking forward to it!  The cast was very generous and I appreciate them taking the time to answer my questions.
