Big Brother 21 House Reveal!
The Big Brother 21 House REVEAL is finally here! With mere days until the much anticipated premiere of the show, CBS released a short tour of the new house led by none other than our beloved Julie Chen Moonves.
Ok, let’s get started!
The theme this year is CAMP BB and we start with the kitchen and dining room area.
The kitchen is completely camouflaged with wood cupboards, which no doubt will make the HG’s frustrated in the beginning of the game. On top of the kitchen sits a huge billboard-type sign that reads “Majestic HOH.” How’s that for some scenery?
The iconic dining table is set for all the house guests but with one change this year, a camp fire in the center. Who doesn’t love s’mores?? They happen to be my favorite!
A busy living space
Ok, enough about s’mores. Moving into the Living room, we see a birchwood coffee table and a modern take of taxidermy on the walls. I’m no huntress so I’ll definitely take a wire/metal sculpture of elk as opposed to the real ones.
Getting Sleepy?
Let’s get to the bedrooms, shall we? These are the rooms the HG’s will be feverishly running to when they enter the house. Bedroom #1 has 2 double beds and portable camp stove (wondering if this will actually work).
Bedroom #2 has a very cool RV facade/doorway and the largest of the rooms with 3 double beds. The walls are adorned with polaroids and memorabilia.
Bedroom #3 has 1 regular double bed and a round bed with the archery theme/bullseyes all around the walls. Something tells me this room is going to be the “Have Not” room. You probably do not want to sleep in this room unless you enjoy have a literal target on your back.
As you walk into the other part of the house, the walls are lined with merit badges (possible reoccurring theme?).
Take a break…
The Lounge Room, AKA the Kaleidoscope room from last season, is a lake house theme with no “extras” this season. In past seasons, we’ve seen BB add some bonus stuff in the lounge. Sometimes a photo booth or last season, a pin wall, (you know those things you can smash your body up against and it will leave your imprint?). But nada this year as far as I can tell.
Bathrooms… And a Ladder?
Up next, the BB Bathroom! 1st time in BB history, we have 3 sinks! Exciting stuff ladies and gentleman!
And as we move to the upstairs, Julie mentions we have another 1st in the BB history, a second way to get upstairs to the HOH room (a ladder to the Treehouse). The upstairs HOH lounge is now called the Tree house and has new fish and games.
How about this?
This just leaves us one last portion of the tour. The most coveted place in the house: the HOH Room! Y’all, we are “glamping to the max” in this piece. It is complete with a private bathroom and a king size bed, this room will not disappoint the first head of household of the season.
