Are you ready for the next installment of Troppo?
Troppo season 2 premieres July 25 on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee for the U.S., U.K. Germay and Austria. All 8 episodes of the riveting crime drama will be available at once. Amanda Pharrell (played by Nicole Chamoun) and Ted Conkaffey (portrayed by Thomas Jane) pair up for another investigation in the fictional Australian town of Crimson Lake. Be prepared once again for the mysteries, dangers and evocative landscape the rural town is known for.
The setting for Troppo is Queensland, Australia and the show is is based upon the Crimson Lake series of novels by New York Times best-selling author Candice Fox. Season 2 draws from her book Redemption Point. Yolanda Ramke adapted the Crimson Lake book series for television.
Coming in season 2
The second season of Troppo sets the stage for a new love interest for Amanda while Ted’s past catches up to him in Crimson Lake. Their new investigation attempts to unravel mysteries surrounding the murder of a healing retreat leader who is linked to an exotic drug ring and a ‘bikie’ gang.
Look for a host of returning characters including Radha Mitchell as Kelly Conkaffey, Simon Lyndon as Ezra “Twist” Cole, Angela Punch McGregor as Dr. Val, Ling Cooper Tang as D.I. Hench, and Sara West as Brooke.
