Some will say nothing happened in this episode, God Bless the Child. I’d point out, here and in the podcast, that we saw a lot of character related movement this week.
Last week, Serena, seemed to decide on a path forward. This week, she and June seemed to form an alliance. But that’s not all June was up to – she still has some sway over Fred. She’s putting her influence to use on Serena’s behalf while positioning Serena to benefit from it. Then there’s all the stuff between Janine and Lydia.
