Renée Ballard will arrive onscreen in the S3 finale of Bosch: Legacy.
Renée Ballard enthusiasts will be thrilled to learn that Maggie Q will make her first appearance as Ballard before the untitled Renée Ballard project even premieres. We will get our first look at the female detective in the Bosch: Legacy S3 finale alongside Harry Bosch.
The finale episode will be directed by Jet Wilkinson who is also on board to direct the first two episodes of the Ballard project. Inspired by recently retired LAPD RHD detective Mitzi Roberts, Renée Ballard has made her mark already in Michael Connelly’s novels focused on the character. The untitled Ballard series will follow the detective’s assignment as head of the cold case unit. Renée must contend with a unit of volunteers tackling a large volume of cases without adequate funding to support their cause. Renée will turn to Harry Bosch for support when a conspiracy comes to light that could harm Ballard and the unit.
The spin-off series boasts an impressive executive producer team of Jet Wilkinson, Michael Connelly, Trish Hofmann, Michael Alaimo, and Kendall Sherwood.
