Prodigal Son RENEWED for Season 2!
Take that collective sigh of relief, Prodigies. The freshman show on FOX is renewed for a second season, and I know I don’t speak for myself when I say I am both pumped and relieved. Seriously, CAN YOU IMAGINE this show being canceled on that cliffhanger? Yeah, exactly.
While details of when the show will be able to resume production is unclear (the show films in NYC and they’re still on a stay-in-place order), fans are thankful for more creepy stories, serial killers, and damaged family bonding. For real, is there a family more messed up than the Whitly’s right now? Probably not. Ainsley just became Martin’s favorite, our big bad is dead, and Malcolm is well… distraught as usual. But! What will happen now? Will he work to project his baby sister, or will Ainsley start down a path that she cannot stop?
The show released a teaser for season two (my guess is they recorded a tiny something in the spring before wrapping up), and it hints at the above. Check it out below:
