Killjoys Season 5 Episode 2

Finding Dutch

Dutch does makeshift surgery on Zeph which includes using medicinals she steals from Turin who is a drug dealer in the lady’s world).

A far fall from the leader of The Rack as he once was…

D’Avin and Pree continue the hunt.

Pree’s way

Our badass Killjoy, Pree, is leaving no stones unturned as he fully searches the Royale for Dutch (Yala).

He also opens up a Black Warrant for her capture. Which means it’s open hunting season for all – and to bring her back alive or dead.

D’Avin’s way

Working with Johnny to find and bring her in before she is killed.

Finding a lead

As Johnny is cleaning up outside the Royale, Gared comes by to tell him that Dutch had stolen drugs from Turin.

When asked if he’d help at the bar. Gared says no, that he would never tend bar. (Showing just how much of a hold the lady has as he had once tended to the bar with Pree.)

Visiting Turin

Turin refuses to say anything until D’Avin lets him punch Johnny for Dutch punching him.

As he gets his punch in he tells them the old tech she offered him was only used by stinky raincoat aka Zeph.

Stake out

After a bowl of noodles, it is easy to see that D’Avin and Johnny can’t get along so they end up going their separate ways.

Finding Zeph’s hiding spot

While looking around, Johnny finds Zeph’s hideout and finds a terminal with data about the factories.

Factory facts

These facts came into the hands of Dutch and Zeph by means of Dutch stealing a terminal from Fancy.

Green Fancy is really into himself and figures his fellow killjoy grabbed his ass -because everyone finds him sexy. Just like with Pree, it was so fun to see this different Fancy. It’s always fun to see characters from different view points.

The data they find shows that the lady is doing total taraforming from the factories. And in 28 days the air will be unbreathable.

Back to our boys

As Johnny deals with the fact his wife might be a terrorist of sorts.

D’Avin runs into Dutch, who grabs and kisses him. And tells him they’re on the same team and gives him a data pad with the whereabouts to the factories, and where she will be going.

Meeting up at Lucy

When they meet up they decide to cut her off at the building.

Zeph remembers

While they’re getting ready to go…. So does Dutch.

And one part of that is testing a protein inhibitor Zeph has been working on to get memories back.

In a heart-stealing scene, we see it work. But the cost of it was her having relive the pain of losing Pip again. Now her anger is no longer at Dutch it’s at the lady and she is ready to bring her down.

Meeting at the factory

When D’Avin and Johnny get there, they are mostly greeted by Dutch, who gives them both the protein inhibitor.

This, or course, starts the brotherly jaunting we’ve come to love in this show.

Pree is on the trail

They weren’t the only ones on Dutch’s trail – So was Pree.

And while D’Avin distracts him, Johnny tases him and does nothing to help. Saying it’s the bigger brother’s role to do such things.

Destroying the alien babies

As the boys are disposing of Pree, Dutch destroys the core of the factory. That seems to be a bunch of alien babies.

Now we know why the lady is taraforming the planet.

Meeting up with the boys

After Dutch is done destroying the alien babies with a flame gun, she meets up with Johnny and D’Avin, who have a passed out Pree in the back

They all await Zeph to open the door.

Where is Zeph?

Well after her computers go down, she has to risk going outside. While fixing the problem the rain comes and all of Zeph’s past memories are wiped clean.

And with that are heroes are trapped!

The lady

The lady has been busy herself trying to get Khylin to tell her where Yala is.

Transferring bodies

To show Khylen her prowess, she makes him watch as she gasses a woman in a chamber, and than comes out as the woman. The child dead on the floor.

She can transfer bodies. Khylen is not too impressed.

Finally getting the answers she needs

After telling Khylen she is going take his body, he folds, but not to tell her where Yala is. Because she knows that. But the whereabouts of Jaq.

Cause Khylen would do anything to protect his daughter, even at the expense of his grandson.

Final thoughts

Another amazing episode!

Just like classic Killjoys. It made one laugh and cry all in the same scene. I can’t wait untill next week.

Killjoys airs on SYFY Fridays at 10/9c.
