Twitter Reactions: A Christmas Story Live
Last night’s FOX special: A Christmas Story Live brought out quite a few reactions from viewers. Some positive, some not-so-positive. I’m personally not a “live” TV performance fan (and certainly not for musicals…) but you have to give the cast, crew, and creatives some credit for giving it a shot. It definitely isn’t easy.

I’ve been really critical of these Fox musicals but tbh I did not mind #AChristmasStoryLive Performances were solid, songs were decent, and you can’t go wrong with Matthew Broderick- he’s a national treasure. Maybe my icy heart is just melting with the Christmas season 🤷🏽♀️

I LOVE Matthew Broderick 💖 This #AChristmasStoryLive is fantastic! The whole cast is great! Kudos to the camera crew & Director too! Loving the behind the scenes tidbits too. Did NOT like the cheesy ad put in for the Hugh Jackman movie though, that was lame 😒

#AChristmasStoryLive blew my mind. The creativity, talent (on camera and off), level of execution, and attention to detail were all off the charts. “Major Award” was one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen on television, period.

About that line flub…
With any live performance – there will be some mistakes. Fans didn’t miss Maya’s, but were very supportive.
