BB 21 First Nominations
Welcome to Biiiiiiiig Brother!
Sunday night was our third episode of the BB premiere week and with this episode we pick up right after the HG’s finish up the HOH competition.
Where are we?
Jackson and his alliance are feeling pretty safe with Christie as the new Head of Household. Meanwhile, Ovi is laying on the compliments and trying a bit too hard with the HOH. All of the girls in the house are gathered in one of the bedrooms and Kat and Kemi feel comfortable enough to start talking very honestly about their “feelings” on Jack and Michie.
After this brief conversation, Bella runs upstairs to share this news with the other houseguests in her alliance. After some debate, Christie wants to put up “easy” nominations and get no blood on her hands. Cliff and Kat seem to be the front-runners, with Cliff being the pawn. Oh Cliff! We knew this would happen.
The game is moving quite fast with the 6 person alliance, now becoming 8 (with Tommy and Sis added). They solidify this alliance and give it a name – Gr8ful. (Nick, Jackson, Jack, Sis, Tommy, Christie, Bella and Holly). They are all LOVE and LIGHT with Christie as the HOH this week and it seemed fitting.
The Gr8ful alliance is getting real sloppy in the first week and Nick is caught by Ovi whispering to Jack and Tommy about their 8 person alliance. Amateur move on Nick’s part! Ovi runs to tell other people about what he heard and of course it gets back up the HOH, which puts a huge red bullseye on Mr. Ovi as a possible nomination this week!
Bring it on!
Up next, is the Whacktivity Competition and the HG’s gather in the backyard to sign up for 1 of 3 competitions (chaos, panic or nightmare). Only 5 can play each week and this week, the Nightmare competition will be played.
The first 5 HG’s to compete are Nicole, Ovi, Cliff, Kat and Bella. They have to match up completely foul odors from the backyard to the trash bins in front on them and after 3 rounds, Ovi wins! His secret Nightmare power gives him the ability to turn one HOH’s reign into a complete nightmare.
Basically, he can unleash this power in the middle of the night and cause the HOH to have to nominate 2 new people for eviction. It can only be used for the first 6 nominations of the game. Right now, Ovi is being seen as a threat in the house because he knows about the alliance. You know the saying, “the measure of a man is what he does with power?” Well, that power went straight to his head, because Ovi decides to march right up to HOH and try and create his own alliance of 5 with people from Gr8ful!
SMH. Poor thing. He has no idea what he’s doing with this move. The other houseguests play along and pull out their A-game acting to make him believe he just created the 1st BB alliance of the season.
<cue laughs>
Moving on the nomination ceremony, Christie entertains a conversation with Kemi before the ceremony and it irritates both Christie and Jack to no end. They have her on their radar and it’s possible she will get nominated this week or very soon.
Cliff and Kat are the noms for the week. Stay tuned for the veto competition/meeting and see what unfolds with Ovi and his power.
